With broad experience in requirements work, product management, and technical dialogue, I am the link between business goals and development – always based on data and analysis.

Summary

I am a versatile and engaged agile leader with a strong technical interest and broad experience from various leadership roles. I have the ability to create good collaboration within teams and ensure effective and smooth workflows. I am certified in SAFe, Product Ownership, and Scrum.

Requirements work and documentation have often been a natural part of my assignments in roles as project manager and scrum master. In various contexts, I have closely collaborated with both business and product owners to clarify goals and needs – and then translate these together with the development team into concrete solutions. My technical understanding allows me to actively participate in discussions with engineers and developers, contributing to well-founded decisions.

Data and analysis have often been an integrated part of the projects I have worked on. I am used to working in data-driven environments and have a good understanding of the important role data plays in creating insights and driving value.

I am also very experienced working with Jira and Confluence, which I use for backlog management, sprint planning, documentation, and to create transparency towards stakeholders.

Employee Portal on SharePoint

Project Manager | Development Lead

I led the development of the “My Pages” section on a SharePoint-based intranet, aiming to create a personalized information space for all employees. In my role, I was responsible for gathering requirements, prioritizing functionality, investigating Fortnox’s open API, and exploring integration possibilities with O365. I drove the development of the MVP, collected user feedback, and continued to further develop the solution.

The project was successfully delivered and resulted in a highly appreciated feature that improved internal communication and access to relevant information for all employees.

Internal Engagement & Improvement Initiatives

Initiator | Improvement Lead

I took an active role in driving internal initiatives focused on developing workplace culture, strengthening collaboration, and improving our shared working methods. By leading and participating in network meetings, internal conferences, and cross-functional improvement projects, I contributed to increased knowledge sharing, smoother processes, and better team dynamics.

The work was carried out in close collaboration with colleagues from various parts of the organization, creating a stronger sense of unity and improving operational efficiency.

During the same period, I was partially on parental leave – a combination that developed my ability to prioritize, work independently, and deliver value with focus and clarity.

Business Development

Project Manager | Business Developer

I was responsible for developing processes and implementing working methods within areas such as recruitment, conference planning, and marketing. In close collaboration with various stakeholders, I identified best practices and led the effort to establish common and effective working methods. The focus was on creating structure, clarity, and long-term sustainability in internal processes.

IKEA

2021 - 2022

Registry Solution

Project Manager | Team Lead

I led a cross-functional team with members in both Sweden and the USA – a total of nine full- and part-time employees. As team lead, I was responsible for the development and launch of a new gift registry solution for IKEA. I advanced the project by facilitating daily meetings, retrospectives, and other agile activities to ensure focus, collaboration, and progress.

The solution was primarily developed in-house and integrated with IKEA’s existing checkout flow. The project aimed to strengthen IKEA’s offering in the US market, and I worked closely with the product organization to ensure that our deliveries supported IKEA’s global OKR structure, with clear goals linked to the company’s overall priorities.

A key part of the assignment was managing differences in data protection regulations – particularly balancing the more open handling in the US with the strict GDPR requirements in the EU.

Sandvik

2021 - 2022

Cloud-based Plant Designer

Project Manager | Scrum Master

I was responsible for leading a small internal team of three developers in building a fully custom cloud solution in Azure, with Blob Storage as a core component. The solution was created to support Sandvik’s web-based tool Plant Designer and integrated with an existing design tool. The result enabled engineers to create, manage, and save their designs directly in the cloud.

To maximize output in the small team, I introduced a hybrid methodology combining Kanban and Scrum. I drove agile ceremonies and took full responsibility for project planning – from requirements gathering and user story creation to stakeholder management and delivery scheduling. The work was primarily documented using Google tools (Docs, Sheets, etc.), while product documentation was structured and maintained in Confluence.

A central part of the assignment was communication with the client. I played an active and practical role in ensuring the customer’s needs were understood and translated into functionality with real business value – especially since many stakeholders were accustomed to traditional waterfall methods. This required clear communication and the ability to bridge differences in working methods and culture.

Beyond the technical outcome, a major success in the project was that I managed to get Sandvik’s management to start thinking more agile – laying the foundation for a long-term change in how the organization works with digital product development.

License Management and Cost Optimization

Licensing Service Manager

As Licensing Service Manager, I led an initiative aimed at reducing IKEA’s licensing costs by mapping the use of Java and .NET within the organization. The focus was on gathering detailed information about installed versions and how these were used in different development environments. Based on the analysis, I pushed for a transition to open-source alternatives where possible.

To support the more technically complex parts of the work, I collaborated closely with two experts in Java and .NET. The work was driven through structured dialogues and continuous information sharing with relevant stakeholders in the company. Results and recommendations were communicated via email and documented in Confluence to ensure transparency and alignment throughout the process.

Through this strategic and collaborative approach, I played an important role in identifying cost-saving opportunities and contributing to a more sustainable and modern development infrastructure at IKEA.

Voucher System

Project Manager | Scrum Master

As Scrum Master and Project Manager, I took over an ongoing project at risk of failing, with the mission to create structure, improve communication, and introduce clear processes. I led a small team consisting of two young and inexperienced developers based in Malmö, while the client was located in Copenhagen. The work was entirely custom development and followed agile Scrum principles, focusing on improving an existing system.

The stakeholder situation was simple but demanding, with only two direct contacts: a client and their manager. My leadership and clear communication with all parties were crucial to turning the project around and delivering a stable and efficient voucher tool. The solution became a valuable support for Royal Canin in attracting and retaining customers.

Booking System

Project Manager | Scrum Master

In the role of Scrum Master and Project Manager, I led a dynamic development team of 3 to 6 people in creating an innovative office booking solution. The application was developed in React, hosted on AWS, and created under time pressure due to the ongoing pandemic. The goal was to enable a COVID-safe office environment by allowing employees to book desks – but only at their assigned home office – achieved through integration with the company’s internal employee database.

The team worked according to Scrum, where I facilitated all agile ceremonies and drove continuous delivery in short iterations. After the first release, we gathered user feedback and further developed the tool. The result was a great success within the organization, where the solution quickly spread widely and was highly appreciated.

Chatbot for Hotels

Scrum Master

I served as Scrum Master in the development of a chatbot solution tailored for hotel receptions. My responsibilities included building and managing the backlog, facilitating planning and prioritization, and ensuring the team worked focused and structured towards set goals.

Through close collaboration with both developers and other stakeholders, I helped shape the solution effectively, resulting in clear functionality and a user-friendly design.

Telia

2018 - 2019

Payment Solution

Project Manager

As Project Manager, I led a team of eleven developers – ten based in Malmö and one in Stockholm – in developing a platform-independent payment solution for Telia Finance. The technical environment was very complex, as the project required integration with a new core banking platform simultaneously developed by an external vendor, often under challenging conditions with varying delivery quality.

My role covered a broad range of responsibilities, from managing high-level stakeholders in a politically charged internal environment to contributing to test strategy and execution. By actively shielding the team from unnecessary political friction and administrative noise, I created a work environment where developers could focus on delivering high-quality code. This leadership was appreciated and acknowledged by team members on several occasions.

The team worked in Google Workspace, JIRA, and Confluence, with development in Kotlin, Swift, React, and AWS.

IKEA

2017 - 2018

Incident Coordinator

Incident Coordinator Digital Workplace

I played a central role in coordinating and communicating incidents related to IKEA’s internal digital workplace tools and systems. Within IKEA’s internal incident management platform, I was responsible for receiving, structuring, and forwarding user-reported issues to the appropriate technical teams.

Much of the work involved managing permissions and troubleshooting technical problems remotely – either through my own efforts or by guiding users to solutions.

With clear communication, structured coordination, and a solution-focused approach, I contributed to faster incident resolution, improved user experience, and higher quality in incident management.

I served as an important link between end users and IT, with the ability to translate technical challenges into concrete actions and facilitate effective problem-solving between teams.
